The company is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, inconvenience caused by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence by Bukit Lawang Limited, such as wars, floods, severe weather, acts of God etc.
Travel is a risky activity, and travel to Indonesia carries higher risk than to Western countries. General standards of health, safety and hygiene in Indonesia are lower than Western countries. In addition, there are additional hazards, such as snakes, tropical diseases, wild animals, and other threats that might not be present in your own country. You are responsible for appraising yourself of these risks before making the decision to travel. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover these risks (including but not limited to medical insurance, baggage, and other risks such as your own circumstances requiring you to cancel the trip).
Cancellation of your trip can be made by email to email@example.com.
No refund of any payment/deposit will be issued in the event of cancellation within 7 days of travel, or in the event of no-show. Otherwise, refunds are available as follows:
* cancellation more than 30 days before travel - full refund, minus £20 administration fee
* 7 to 29 days prior to travel: - subject to fee of 25% of total booking value
If you have paid a deposit, then the balance is due before you start you trip, either in cash on arrival, or by Paypal.
Changes to your trip should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Change requests are not guaranteed and may incur additional costs. If this is the case we will advise you by email.
In the event that you become aware of changes to your inbound flight affecting the arrival date or time, you must send the changes to us by email at email@example.com. Failure to do so may result in you missing your transport, and no refund will be due to you for the cost of that.
In the event that for personal reasons you are unable to carry out your booked trek or other activity on the day booked, we may, at our exclusive discretion, offer an alternative date or alternative activity. Depending on the circumstances we may ask you to pay an additional charge to cover this change.
